Free King Kong Colouring Pages

The story of a really, really big monkey who gets his break on Broadway.

The movie has everything, adventure (to an island), a monster (who turns out to be Kong), romance (feelings develop between Ann and several of the main characters, including touching moments with Kong), musical numbers (well it is Broadway), action (fighter planes, gunfire) and a sad moment (but we won't spoil it for you).

This is a remake of the original 1933 film, with exciting computer generated graphics that really bring Kong to life.

Did you know that they used a real actor to get Kong's movements down just right? The actor was Andy Serkis. Andy has also done other motion capture roles in big films like Lord of the Rings (he was Gollum) and the Adventure of Tin-Tin (where he played Captain Haddock).

Motion capture is where they use a bodysuit with markers that can detect the movements the actor makes and then feed this into a computer to create a character with realistic movements. Impressive huh?

Other key characters in the movie:

  • Carl, a film director
  • Jack, a scriptwriter

This is a movie within a movie. And the island they go to, where they encounter King Kong, is called Skull Island. Pretty cool.

This is a nice movie. I have been seen it more than 7 times. I was become more afraid when I have seen the movie at first time. My five little cousins were with me. They also became afraid to see the movie
